Waterpark Safety & Procedures

Wristbands

All guests entering the Waterpark must wear a wristband. This includes guests not swimming and guests who are in the park for a short amount of time. Wristband colors will switch daily at 11AM.

Age

Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. This is in accordance with the Minnesota State Law. If any person in the group is under the age of 14 someone over the age of 18 must be in the Waterpark and Outdoor Pool with them at all times. There must be an adult for every 10 children in your party to help make your event a safe and memorable experience.

Carry-In Food and Beverage:

Absolutely no outside food or beverage is permitted in the Waterpark. This includes drinks and snacks from the Sunrise Lounge and Gift Shop.

Height Requirements

Guests must be 48” tall to ride the green body slide. Guests less than 48” tall can ride with an adult on the tube slide, but both guests must sit in their own seat, with the larger rider seated in back. Lifejackets are not permitted on the two large slides.

Hours

The waterpark hours will vary depending on the season. The waterpark hours will be posted at the waterpark entrance.

Swim Diapers

All children who still wear diapers must wear a swim diaper to be in any of the pools. It is highly recommended that all children ages 3 and under wear a swim diaper even if they are potty trained.

Swim Attire

Only family-friendly swimwear is allowed in the Waterpark. Bathing suits/swim trunks are recommended to all of our guests. It is acceptable to wear tee shirts, tank tops, gym/cotton/bike shorts without any metal on them in our pools. Tee shirts and tank tops must be removed before going on either of the two large slides for our guest safety. Absolutely no cut off shorts/khaki shorts or pants are permitted in the pools for our guest’s safety. Only swim appropriate shoes are allowed in the pools. Shoes are recommended to be taken off on the slides. All swimwear is at the discretion of the Waterpark staff.

Tattoos/Body Art

We understand that a tattoo is a piece of art created by its wearer and also defines your Tiki! We approve all family friendly tattoos and body art but may ask some versions of display be covered to uphold our fun family atmosphere. We reserve this right at the discretion of staff and management.

Jewelry

We recommend that our guests do not wear jewelry in the Waterpark.

Glass

Glass is not allowed in the Waterpark. Eye glasses are allowed in the Waterpark and in all of the pools however, they must be removed before going down either of the slides. Guests ARE NOT allowed to put eyeglasses in their pocket, or hold eyeglasses while on the slides. Goggles are allowed in the park but not on the waterslides.

Pool Towels

Pool towels are provided in the Waterpark and must be put in the dirty laundry bin before leaving. Do not remove towels from the waterpark.

Lifejackets

Lifejackets are available at no cost in the Waterpark; however there are limited quantities available. If the group is considerably young in age, it is recommended that they bring their own lifejackets.

Flotation Filled Swimsuits

Floatation filled swimsuits are permitted in the Waterpark. Parents should be aware that they may make it more difficult for a child to swim if they are caught under flowing water because the floating swimsuit creates more surface area for the water to press against. No flotation filled swimsuits are permitted on the body slide.

Floaties/Toys

No floaties or toys are permitted in the Waterpark. This includes floating arm bands. Guests must use the Edgewater provided tubes in the river only. Floaties and toys are permitted in the outdoor pool.

Wading Pool

All guests may enjoy the Wading Pool area of the Waterpark. All four slides in the wading pool are single rider only. All slides are to be ridden feet first with the guest seated on their bottom.

Tube Slide

This is a two person tube. Individuals may ride this on their own or with someone else. The larger guest must always ride in the back seat when riding with a second person. Children must be 48” or taller to ride by themselves.

Body Slide

One person at a time. Children must be 48” or taller to ride. No tubes are allowed down this slide.

Lazy River

All guests in the Lazy River must be in a tube at all times. The only tubes that are permitted in the Lazy River are tubes provided by the Edgewater.

Lost and Found, Missing Person’s and Emergency Situations

All meet at the First Aid Station next to the Spa in the Waterpark.

Water Safety Protocol

Although the state mandates it to be checked just once a day, we check the chemicals of our pools once every three hours. This is just another way we stay above the rest with our cleanliness and guest satisfaction!
